Pure Property Spain Interview

By Interviewer at 10/18/09 15:09
Name of your website?

Pure Property Spain

Your name?

Pure Property Spain

Your Location (city, etc)

Los Montesinos

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Bargain Priced Apartments & Villas for Sale in Alicante & Murcia Spain. Perfect locations, and excellent qualities, but at prices to reflect the economy. Beach, town, inland. Whichever location you desire, we have property to suit your requirements.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

As an online 'catalogue' to show a representation of the styles and prices within our +2,000 property portfolio. Also, to provide the opportunity for potential buyers to request more information on selected properties.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

My very 1st website was a marketing website for my 1st overseas property in France in 1998. From here we moved to Spain and the business pure property group formed. The first Pure Property website still runs successfully as http://www.pure-property-group.co.uk

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Pure. I think this reflects the integrity of our company.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

The website operates as a 'shop window' for our business here in Spain. What makes the 'company' different, is that we don't work with a small portfolio of property but by using professional "Property Finders" we have access to some 2,000 properties. The benefit to you? To find the perfect match to your 'Wish List'.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our goal is to continue our work with the business partners we have in different countries, and to build on our reputation of delivering quality properties at excellent prices.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We work hard to maintain our levels of success. But this business is not just about us, it is strongly driven towards customer satisfaction. Our time and re-investment are necessary elements for the business to succeed ant to continue to provide these levels of services for our clients.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Technology is constantly improving & changing in the Internet World. To be able to offer improved levels of information is always a quest (but balanced by available time and money). There is no substitute though, for a client seeing a property 'in the flesh' as no amount of information and imagery will provide a true picture.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

The most important thing for us is to be able to cope with demand. There are always good quality, like minded people we can introduce to our business if and whenever the need arises.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Website improvement. Always a cost, but to have an under-performing or poorly navigable website is worse.

What has been your biggest challenge?

To break into new markets and develop these to successful levels of client enquiries.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Overseas Partnerships and SEO.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Just as we planned, but we work hard at simplifying the back office processes to save us time.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The original site & domain has run from 2004, and the 'New' site for just 6 months. The website is an extension of the business. Spanish property is coming back far stronger than before the economic downturn, so we see no reason for the website to not provide a valuable information service for many years.

How do you see the recovery of Spanish Real Estate following the Crisis?

2008 was a difficult year for Real Estate sales in Spain. Already we see the Spanish Property market has 'bottomed out' and the sales are reflecting this with the increased interest we have. We now see greater interest from other countries than the traditionally British marketplace which is encouraging. Our view is that 'Post recession' Spain will come back stronger, a sound reflection of he years of investment into the countries solid (& constantly improving) infrastructure of services.

What is your website address?

Pure Property Spain
