Please give us a short summary of your website?
We sell Mobile Homes and Park Homes in Spain and Portugal, sited on residential Style Parks. We have the Largest number of Parks and the greatest selection of Parks. All our homes come fully furnished and at very competitive prices.Our after sales service is excellent. We hope to provide people with a cheap alternative to bricks and mortar and to live a much healthier, cheaper and healthier lifestyle.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We bought our own mobile home in Spain a few years ago.It was very difficult to find a company that we could trust and also one that had what we were looking for,so we spent a lot of time researching,visiting Spain to find our ideal.After a few years of experiencing the wonderful lifestyle we decided we would like to share our findings with others and spread the word about our world of Paradise.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first website in 2007 under the name of www.costadelparadise.co.uk,by 2008 and after a huge demand from clients and our eagerness to supply information, we found our site becoming difficult to manage and not user friendly. We therefore took the steps to have a new website which we hope will be easier for our visitors.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We found that our place in Spain provided us with a very relaxed lifestyle,stress free and a wonderful community spirit with like minded people.It felt like Paradise.As spain is full of "Costas" we therefore thought our company name should combine the two, hence the name Costa Del Paradise.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We try to provide a Website that is user friendly,that informs people the best way in which to proceed with buying a mobile home in Spain or Portugal.We try to supply a viewing of all our homes and our parks that are available.We also provide information and pictures of the surrounding areas. We offer hassle free Inspection trips for our clients so they can see the parks for themselves.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We aim to provide a service second to none and on our retirement the company will be run by our daughters, who are current directors in the business.It is therefore vital that we have a company with an excellent reputation.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
In these early years there has been an enormous amount of work that has had to be done. We are not looking for a return on our time or money because we are in our building stages.It is very rewarding to us to be able to satisfy our clients needs and we are thrilled when they find their dream home on their dream park.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
If our budget was unlimited, we would look to advertise our services in much more expensive methods so that we could share our experiences. We would also look to produce our own designed home from feedback from clients.If money was no object we would love to buy a park and provide true Paradise for our clients.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
The simple answer is Yes.We are continually reviewing the demand and acting accordingly.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
We have not experienced any unexpected costs as I was in Accountancy for a number of years. We have experienced frustrations in many areas in our quest to provide the best,but perseverance has prevailed.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenges have been in the building of our portfolio of Parks and also the quest of achieving better rankings for our website.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
By exhibiting and promoting our company name at the various mobile home and park home shows both in the Uk and abroad. We have worked hard with our website by producing features,news items and links from other sources.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Having had no knowledge of computers until 6 years ago the project has been much more difficult than I anticipated.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have run the website for a year and will continue to do so and improve our services.
What is your goal.
To provide the best service, by means of service,choice,reliability and price. To provide people with an escape route from their normal way of life.To allow pensioners to be able to enjoy life and live in Paradise rather than striving to be able to just keep warm.To have the best name in the business for reliability,service,choice and price.To be able to enlighten people of a superb alternative way of life.
